A walking food tour is a guided walking tour that focuses on the culinary culture of a locale. On our food tours, you will be led by one of our Cultural Culinary Connectors who will take you to great eateries in Downtown Decatur where you will sample delicious cuisine at 5 local restaurants. You will also visit an artisan olive and vinegar tasting room to learn the varied usage for oil and vinegar. As you stroll through the neighborhoods, you will also discover the rich history and culture of Downtown Decatur.
Yes, all tickets much be purchased in advance. Please book in advance to ensure you get the date and number of tickets needed. Tickets can only be purchased with a debit/credit card from our website or by calling. We do not accept walk-ups or cash on the day of the tours.
Our tours run rain or shine. We recommend that you check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately.

When you purchase your ticket online, please check the applicable boxes for your dietary needs (vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.). In most cases, we can accommodate your request with advance notice. We will do our best to work with our eateries to arrange alternate tastings for you.
We recommend that you bring a camera and a small bottle of water. You may also consider sunscreen and a pair of sunglasses when it is very hot. During the cooler seasons it is very important to wear an extra layer of clothing. If the weather calls for rain, please bring an umbrella as the tours run rain or shine!
